Antonella Vitale, voice, Andrea Benevantano Grandpiano, Francesco Puglisi doublebass, Alessandro Marzi drums and precussions, and friends: Gerry Popolo saxes and flute, Aldo Bassi flugelhorn and trumpet, Enrico Bracco classic guitar.
“Raindrops” is the new Antonella Vitale’s CD, jazz singer and sensitive author, accompanied by many great musicians of the italian yazz survey such as Andrea Beneventano on piano, Francesco Puglisi on double bass, Alessandro Manzi on drums, Gerry Popolo on sax and flute, Aldo Bassi on flugehorn and trumpet and Enrico Bracco on guitar. They propose a new and original rereading of Burt Bacharach’s songs from “Walk on by” , “What the world needs now”, “The look of love” , “I’ll never fall in love again”, to “Raindrops keep faling on my head” and many more. At the end of the CD three bonus tracks composed by Antonella Vitale.
Recorded at AreaMagister Studio with digital technology in high resolution 24bit/88.2kHz by Marco Lincetto and Stefano Isola, with the presence of a noble piano Steinway & Sons D 274 Concer Grand, born in New York on 1930 and now completely restored.
